Bonus Fruit Add-On Option:

We experimented with this option in 2011 and it was a success.  The Bonus Fruit Add-On option is in addition to the normal fruit we put into the CSA Harvest Boxes.  The cost is an extra $60.00.  We will put this extra amount of fruit into these Harvest Boxes 6 times throughout the CSA season.  This option is only available to the first 30 CSA members who sign up and pay for this option.  Contact us if you have any questions.

LEHNE FARM CSA members please understand each growing season has its unique challenges. As with all agricultural produce, there is a potential for crop failures due to weather, pests or other factors beyond our control. To offset the risk we grow a wide range of produce ensuring a variety of food to fill your share all season long.  As members of the farm we all share in the risks and rewards of each growing season.

The first few weeks your CSA Harvest Box might tend to have fewer items in it.  However, by the middle of the CSA season we have a larger variety of produce available for the Harvest Boxes.  Over the course of the CSA season you can rest assured that the value of your CSA Harvest Box generously exceeds the amount you paid for it.
